These days, time is the most important ingredient for brewing beers of the highest quality from water, malt hops and yeast. That's why our brewery is a member of Slow Brewing. Slow Brewing is an institution that awards the most stringent seal of quality for best beer quality and character on an international level. Only breweries that act fairly and consciously in all areas of their value chain can be certified. A bland flavour has no chance.
We love and protect what is genuine, and we act consciously and in tune with the environment and the region. We are also aware of future generations, and support fair cooperation with employees and everyone involved in the production process.
We use only the purest ingredients from the region: hops from the Hallertau, Bavarian malts and yeast from our own pure cultivation. We draw our brewing water, from our own 116-metre-deep well on the premises of the brewery.
In addition to all this, it is the slow, gentle brewing process and the long maturation time in the storage cellar that are of paramount importance, contributing significantly to the especially appealing and mature flavour of our special beers. Quite simply: “slow brewing".
